Fernando Duque, Co-Founder of Duke Renders

Angela Belt • November 6, 2023

The interior design industry is moving towards photorealistic imagery that puts age-old processes like AutoCAD and SketchUp to shame. This week, I discuss with Fernando Duque why hiring a business like Duke Renders is a game changer for your interior design business. I used to work with 3D visual design at my previous job at Wayfair, but I’ve never done it for myself because I thought it was too expensive and took away from my bottom line. Well, over the past month, I got to work directly with the Duke Render’ s team to design a kitchen I’m working on in 2024, and I will say the results blew me and my clients away. I don’t think my assistant will be mocking up any kitchen or bathroom designs in Sketchup soon. To try out Duke Render’s services use this link and save 25% on your first design.

Fernando was born in Venezuela and describes himself as a serial entrepreneur. He has already founded more than five companies. In March 2020, in the midst of COVID-19, Fernando and his brother opened Duke Renders. The mission of the business was to help support real estate developers and interior designers to execute their visions to completion through virtual reality services. The business has skyrocketed since then and has grown to more than 100 team members worldwide and without outside investment.

The 3D Render studio in Tulum, Mexico, specializes in interior design and architectural photorealistic imaging. Duke Renders has served more than 500 interior designers and real estate companies with photorealistic accuracy for each project.

Check out my photorealistic imagery from Duke Renders. My clients wanted to update their kitchen without doing a gut renovation, and they specifically didn't want a white kitchen. We discussed going with a dark green color and making the space feel more modern. As well as change the flooring, add custom carpentry, lighting, and so much more.
